The Heritage Trail Correctional Facility, located at 501 West Main Street in Plainfield, Indiana, is a minimum-security prison for men. Managed by the GEO Group under a contract with the Indiana Department of Correction, the facility opened in 2014 on the site of the former Indiana Boys School. It was established to house lower-risk offenders and provide specialized programming for inmates transitioning back into society.
