California City Correctional Facility (CAC)

California City Correctional Facility (CAC) is a Level II, general population prison located in California City, California. Nestled in the third largest landmass city in the state, CAC is surrounded by scenic landmarks such as the Sierra Nevada Range, Mammoth Lakes, and Death Valley National Park.

The facility is owned by CoreCivic but operated under the authority of the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR).
