Nampa Community Reentry Center
The Nampa Community Reentry Center (NCRC) has been an integral part of the Idaho correctional system since its establishment in 1985. Located at 1640 11th Avenue North in Nampa, it provides a structured environment for up to 115 male residents classified as minimum custody. These residents are typically nearing the end of their sentences and are preparing for reintegration into the community.
The NCRC focuses on rehabilitation and reintegration by offering a range of programs aimed at self-improvement. Residents have access to treatment programs, support groups, community-based employment, and opportunities for community service. These initiatives are designed to equip them with the tools and experiences necessary for a successful transition back to society.
Family connection is also emphasized at the Nampa Community Reentry Center, with scheduled visitation to help maintain relationships. Currently, visiting hours are split between two days, Saturday and Sunday, and are organized by resident tiers.
- Visitors in Tiers 1 and 3 can check in from 11:15 to 11:30 a.m. on Saturdays, with visiting hours from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
- Tier 2 visitors can check in between 2:15 and 2:30 p.m., with visits concluding at 4:30 p.m. On Sundays, this schedule reverses, with Tier 2 visitors allotted the earlier time slot.
For inquiries, the center’s contact number is 208-465-8490. By fostering accountability and providing resources for residents, the Nampa Community Reentry Center plays a critical role in both the inmates’ journeys and community safety.
