Delta Correctional Center

The Delta Correctional Center (DCC), located about nine miles west of Delta, Colorado, has a rich history and an essential role in the state’s correctional system. Originally known as the Roubideaux Conservation Training Camp, its construction began in 1963 and was completed by 1964. The facility started with modest beginnings, housing just 99 male inmates and employing 17 full-time staff members. Over the years, it has undergone several expansions, growing into the institution it is today.

Spread across 113.85 acres, the Delta Correctional Center now houses up to 477 inmates.
